Last week we spent another lovely six days admitted in the Cancer Center. This will be our last time being pregnant and a cancer patient at the same time.  I guess I will turn in my “pregnant with cancer card.”  We were placed on a different floor than normal, yet our amazing 6th floor nurses planned and executed a baby shower for us. They brought in cake, ice cream, and gift cards. I was in shock, as nurse after nurse piled into our room. This group of nurses has gone above and beyond to ensure we have the best care, and I will always be thankful for them.

The six days we were there seemed to drag on forever. I am convinced, the longer you are in the hospital, the harder it is to be there. The food became inedible to me, and I needed to eat. Joseph…
