Sweeteners for boot camp

ok, this time around, we are aiming to eat generally the same (paleo), but with a few additions that I feel are more do-able.  If you haven’t checked out http://www.health-bent.com/  please do so.  Really some great recipes, and I LOVE the Umbrella concept for a way of eating!!! (see the bottom of this page http://www.health-bent.com/about ).

Here is a list of sweeteners that are as natural as possible (stay mindful of the amounts still!):

  • coconut sugar (I ordered mine off Amazon.com)
  • honey (I use local purchased at Earthfare, Whole Foods, or The Peach Stand- local is supposed to help allergies too!)
  • maple syrup (the real stuff, not the corn syrup stuff)
  • apple juice concentrate 
  • applesauce
  • 100% fruit jam
